Sausage & Spencer are a 6 year old bonded pair of dachshunds. They’re brothers. They have lived with female dachshunds previously.

They are predominantly couch potatoes but do love their walks and snacks! They sleep together in their large dog bed downstairs at night.

Both dogs are affectionate and their main aim in life is simply to find a comfy sofa to snooze together and snuggle with their humans.

They are typical dachshunds who will announce themselves to passers by and other dogs outside on walks. Sausage more so than Spencer. They’re food motivated and very trainable.

They can be walked on lead or off lead. They walk nicely without much pulling. They have been previously walked by dog walkers in a group dog setting and mixed well with other dogs.

They would not be suitable for a home with cats. Applications will be considered from those with no children, or teenage children. They would benefit from being the only dogs in their new home though we would consider a home with a small sized neutered female dog(s).

They may be small but they love their walks, a good sniff and time exploring.
