Our Team

Registered Charity 1175478.

Phoenix Rehoming is a charity based in Hampshire and operates in the South of England.

2024 has seen us win “Animal Rescue of the Year 2024 – Prestige Awards” and “Most Dedicated Pet Rehoming Service 2024 – South East England” in the Pet Products & Services Awards.

The charity was nominated as “Animal Charity Team of the Year 2024” in the PetPlan & ADCH Annual Charity Awards.

We were awarded the prestigious “Rescue of the Year 2021” award at the Animal Star Awards held in 2022.

The charity was established in 2016 and has now rehomed more than 1800 pets. We rescue any dog or cat, for any reason, from anywhere. We are staffed entirely by volunteers. This means that the charity can dedicate 100% of its donations to helping dogs and cats in need.

The charity has an unrivalled ethical and professional approach. We are members of the Institute of Modern Dog Training, the Pet Professional Guild, the Pet Industry Advocacy International and the UK Dog Behaviour & Training Charter.

Our goal is to identify and purchase land within Hampshire to enable a rehabilitation and training centre to be built. We welcome all and any help with identifying a suitable field!

The charity has been successful largely due to the good will of some amazing foster carers who are willing to care for rescue dogs and cats in their own home. We are always seeking more foster carers and welcome applications from dog or cat loving people within Hampshire and surrounding areas.

All rescue dogs and cats incur costs from vet appointments and treatments, as well as the cost of transporting, fostering, food, beds and of course toys. By donating to Phoenix Rehoming you are helping us rescue more dogs that desperately need our help. We will find them loving homes where they can enjoy their lives to the maximum surrounded by love and knowing they are safe.
