Sandy is looking for her FOREVER HOME, FOSTER or FOSTER WITH A VIEW TO ADOPT.
There is no adoption fee for Sandy who has waited over 9 months in foster to find her happy ever after.
Little Sandy is a female 4-year-old Kokoni-type mix. She is around 12kg.
This sweet girl is fearful of strangers and takes time to trust. Once she feels safe with you, she will be your best friend; Sandy is a very loving, attentive and playful girl who loves to be cuddled and show affection.
Sandy is easygoing in the home, she loves to nap after exercise and will happily lounge around the house whilst being ready to play with toys whenever someone is willing. She is perfectly happy in her own company.
Sandy is a very bright dog, she responds well to training, shows patience, and loves figuring things out. She really enjoys a walk and gets very excited when her lead comes out.
Sandy wants nothing more than to be loved but is nervous about people she does not know and it takes time for her to trust. Patient and calm introductions are needed with people she doesn’t know. Once trust is established she is a very loving dog and will remember new friends even with time in between visits. For this reason a home without children is required.
She is nervous about other dogs and can bark if she encounters them outdoors. Full training support is available to help her with this. She has been an only dog for the past 4 years but previously lived in a multi-dog home and had doggy friends on walks.
Sandy sleeps all night in her own bed, does prefer to be in the same room as her humans, or at least on the same floor. With practice she’d be fine sleeping separately.
She is fully housetrained.
If you have patience and time for Sandy, she will reward you with so much love.
Her adoption includes;
Vaccines
Vet check
Microchip
Neutering
Flea & worm treatment
5 weeks insurance with Agria
