Meet Luna, fondly nicknamed Lady Luna as she does like to be pandered to as she lounges on the sofa.

Luna is a gorgeous 5-year-old crossbreed girl, around Labrador size at about 32kg, but we can only guess at what breeds she’s a mixture of. There’s likely some hound in there somewhere with that eyeliner!

Luna is a sensitive soul and will bark when strangers come into the house. Once she’s met you and decided you’re alright, she’s got lots of love to give. She has come on leaps and bounds since being in foster, and her personality has really started to come out as she’s settled in.

Luna now likes to have a little play wrestle with her foster dad, but she’s not really one for toys. Most toys won’t even get looked at by this pooch!

She loves a good walk, but when she’s at home, you’ll find her on the sofa having a snooze. She does like to have a chat with you, particularly when she wants something (usually a treat!).

Luna is currently an only dog, and was an only dog in her last home, but she has lived with another dog in the past. Any introductions to a resident dog would need to be gradual. She shows signs of wanting to play with some other dogs on walks, but there is still the odd one she will bark at. She definitely prefers dogs who are smaller than her.

Cats and small furries will be a no go for this pooch, unless you don’t value them that much, in which case she’d love to chase them!
She walks nicely on a lead, but you’ll know about it if she sees a squirrel!

Luna travels well and is quite happy to go out in the car, but there is an unspoken rule that the hoomans must lift her fluffy bum in for her, so she will stand with her front paws in and wait until this happens.

Luna is a lovely girl looking for a patient, quiet home. She’d suit an adult only home, or a home with older teenaged children.
